Lennart Lahuis (NL, 1986) received his BFA from the Artez Institute of the Arts in 2011 and from 2011 to 2013 he was a resident at de Ateliers in Amsterdam. He concluded residencies at BANFF Centre for Arts and Creativity (CAN), Glasgow Sculpture Studios, Glasgow, UK and the Morgan Conservatory, Cleveland, Ohio (US).

Recent solo exhibitions include With Sighs Too Deep For Words at Dürst Britt & Mayhew gallery in The Hague (NL); Those Hours That Have Lost Their Clock at Galeria Jaqueline Martins in Brussels (BE); Constant Escapement at the Fries Museum in Leeuwarden (NL); Land Slides at the National Museum of Ceramics Princessehof in Leeuwarden, (NL). Recent group exhibitions include River of Rebirth at Z33 in Hasselt (BE); When Stones Awake at Platform Post, Nijmegen (NL); In the Age of Post-Drought, at CID Grand-Hornu, Boussu (BE); NABEELD at PARK, Tilburg (NL); Common Ground at the AKZO Nobel Art Foundation in Amsterdam (NL) and Recent Acquisitions at the Stedelijk Museum Schiedam (NL).

In 2021 Lahuis won the FPT Sustainable Art Award. In 2015 he won the Royal Award for Contemporary Painting as well as the Piket Art Prize, both in the Netherlands.
